Object history |
Deutsch: Die Ortsgemeinde Dimbach gehörte vor der Französischen Revolution zur Herrschaft Lindelbrunn, welche sich im Besitz der Grafen von Leiningen-Hardenburg-Dagsburg befand.
Das Wappen der Grafen von Leiningen zeigte drei silberne Adler auf blauen Grund, sowie ein “Goldenes Glevenrad auf roten Grund”. Im Amtswappen der Herrschaft Lindelbrunn befand sich ein Lindenbaum.Aus diesen beiden Wappen wurden Elemente übernommen und im Ortswappen von Dimbach zusammengefügt. Die weiße Farbe der oberen Wappenhälfte sowie die Wellenlinien die das Wappen teilen, nehmen Bezug auf Wasser und die Nachsilbe Bach am Wortende des Ortsnamen Dimbach. |
