©phèbe nu, debout et la têtelevée, provenant du palais Soranzo à Venise (n° 153), est dun art un peumaigre, mais dune grande distinction. Un torse cuirassé dempereur,trouvé sur lemplacement de Paieries (n° 218), est un bon morceau desculpture romaine du i siècle. Le bas-relief n 337, qui représentele Massacre des Niobides et qui, dit-on, aurait été porté du Péloponèse à Venise, donne lidée dun très bel original. Un autre bas-relief, celui-là provenant de Naples (n 329), est intéressant à la fois, et parce quil estgrec et même dassez bonne époque, et parce quil représente un sujettrès rare, les trois Parques : Clotho assise, le fuseau à la main, Lachésistenant le peloton de fil, Atropos debout (la tête et lépaule de cette der-nière sont seules conservées). Elle renferme même une des Åuvres capitales de la céramiqueantique, le fameux vase de Gumes qui faisait partie de la collection Gam-pana, et qui aurait dû entrer au Louvre . Cest une hydrie noire à pansecôtelée, haute de 65 centimètres et absolument intacte. A peu près à mi-hauteur de la panse est une bande unie, sur laquelle se détachent enfaible relief des animaux dorés : lions, griffons, chiens et panthères. A lanaissance du cou et sur plus de la moitié de son pourtour se développentdes appliques plus importantes : dix personnages en assez fort relief,de 0,11 environ de haut, rapportés en terre peu cuite, et en partiepeints, en partie dorés.
