Description
English: The Matter Family Tomb Angel before the restoration of 2010/2011. The restoration revealed the original splendour of the magnificent white angel, sculpted by Josef Sheurer of Biała (who also sculpted the releiefs in the Cemetery Main Entrance). Alfons Matter (1850-1947), the renowned builder\businessman who developed the district of Cieszyn that became known as Matterówka, died in Gliwice during forced deportation after WWII but his body was brought back to be buried at Grave XV-31.
