Description
Ελληνικά: Το χωριό «Σαγκα», στο βόρειο άκρο της κλεισττής λεκάνη «Αργόν Πεδίον», ή το «Νεστάνη-Σαγκα-πολιε».
Το χωριό στηρίζεται σε ένα ριπίδιο κορημάτων, το οποίο συσσωρεύτηκε από προηγούμενες βροχoτπώσιες από τα βουνά. Αυτή η πλαγιά και η γειτονική ιζηματογενής πλαγιά πίσω έίναι καλά καλλιεργημένοι me κήποι και πολλά οπωροφόρα δέντρα.. Αυτό έρχεται σε αντίθεση με τα ξεγυμνώνω βουnά γύρω, όπου μόνο οι εκφυλισμένοι θάμνοι μεγαλώνουν. Ενσωματωμένα στην καλλιεργούμενη περιοχή βρίσκονται τα πυκνά ομαδοποιημένα σπίτια του χωριού.

English: Northern end of the closed Karst basin “Argon Pedion”, “Nestani-Saga-Polje” (length:4km, separate part of the 30km long Tripoli-Karst-Basin in the Arcadian highland, Peloponnese) . This part of the polje is mainly cultivated by the village Saga. It is seldom or never flooded. The village is the red white spot, imbedded in gardens and many trees. Village and environment lie on the slope of the denuded shrubs covered Artemisio-Mountain.
The name Argon Pedion (Greek for untilled plain) is documented in the famous “Description of Greece”, a book by the ancient geographer Pausanias (110-180 AD).

Deutsch: Nordende der landwirtschaftlich kultivierten Karstebene „Nestani-Saga-Polje“ im arkadischen Hochland. Hier, auf den sanft ansteigenden Sedimentfächern zwischen den Bergen des Artemisio liegt das Dorf Saga, grün eingebettet in zahlreiche, kleine Parzellen und zahlreiche Bäume. Die Schwemmkegel der kahlen, nur von dürftigem Macchie-Buschwerk bedeckten Berge des Artemisio haben offensichtlich genug Bodenfeuchte, denn alles ist grün und gepflegt.
Der Name Argon Pedion (Griechisch für „Faule Ebene“) wurde von Pausanias (110-180 AD) in seinem überlieferten Buch „Beschreibung Griechenlands“ geprägt, denn der südliche Teil der Ebene wird, damals wie heute, oft überflutet.
