Description
Deutsch: Gemälde "Die Schlacht von Salamis" von Wilhelm von Kaulbach. Das Original befindet sich im Senatssaal des Bayerischen Landtags, dies ist ein originalgroßer Druck des Gemäldes, das den Sieg der Griechen über die Perser 480 vor Christus schildert. Ganz rechts steht der bei den Thermopylen gefallene Leonidas mit erhobenem Schwert, darüber schwebt Athena, die Schutzgöttin der Griechen.
