English: Lot of 5 posters from the Peace and Freedom Party, circa 168. Though candidates with the party affiliation first appeared on ballots in 1966, the Party was officially founded on June 23, 1967. Cleaver, although he was not 35 years old, was nominated and ran on a platform of ending the war in Vietnam and Black liberation. "I.P.U. 416" printed in the lower corner, likely a printer's union.
