Deutsch: Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel, Paris: Quadriga-Figur auf dem Bogen, Guss Charles Crozatier (Paris); 1808 wurden ihr zwei Siegesgöttinnen zur Seite gestellt. Es handelt sich um die Nachbildung der 1815 wieder an Italien abgegebenen Quadriga vom Markusdom.
English: Top of the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel in Paris, quadriga of Peace riding in a triumphal chariot, by François Joseph Bosio (1768–1845). Bronze by Charles Crozatier, 1828. H. 3.5 m (11 ft. 5 ¾ in.).
Français : Au sommet de l'arc de Triomphe du Carrousel, quadrige de La Paix conduite sur un char de triomphe, par François Joseph Bosio (1768–1845). Bronze et marbre, face au Louvre, 1828. réplique de l'œuvre constantinienne prise à la basilique Saint-Marc, restituée à Venise en 1815, fondue par Crozatier H. 3.5 m (11 ft. 5 ¾ in.). Les déesses de la victoire, dorées, ont été placées en 1808. Les statues de soldats représentent, de gauche à droite, un cuirassier, un dragon, et un hussard. Le texte relate la campagne de 1805. |
