Español: Museo de Valladolid. Ataúd de madera que contuvo los restos del infante Alfonso de Castilla (1286-1291), que fue hijo de Sancho IV el Bravo, rey de Castilla y León, y de la reina María de Molina. Está adornado con unos escudos parecidos al del célebre escritor y magnate Don Juan Manuel, que fue nieto de Fernando III el Santo. El infante Alfonso nació en 1286 y falleció en 1291, a los cinco años de edad, y fue sepultado en el convento de San Pablo de Valladolid, de la Orden de los dominicos. |
