[edit]DescriptionVillage in the Philippine (1915 by Elstner Hilton).jpg |
I wasn't too surprised to find a series of photos from the Philippines in Uncle Elstner's album of Japan from 1914 - 1918. After all, he was in Japan on business, and his business was to sell sawmills. Elstner didn't leave any notes in the album to explain the Philippine photos, so I'm left to speculate that he was paying a visit on a client who was engaged in logging operations in the Philippine jungles. |
