English: Pluton deep space communications and planetary radar in Crimea. An assembly of eight reflector antennas, each with diameter of 16 metres. The Pluton complex supported all the Soviet space programs until 1978. In 1962, Pluton sent messages, first radio broadcasts for extraterrestrial civilizations in the history of mankind, in the direction of a star in the constellation Libra. Evpatoria Center for Deep Space Communications and Exploration. North Station. Vitino, Crimea.
