Dziękuję, ale wolę, żeby to zdjęcie było w kategorii, a nie w artykule. W ogóle uważam, że usuwanie zdjęć z kategorii jest szkodliwe, bo w przyszłości uniemożliwi łatwe automatyczne wyszukiwanie (wyobraź sobie jak będzie wyglądał artykuł "Warszawa" za 2-3 lata). Wojsyl 29 June 2005 23:02 (UTC)

Usuwając ilustracje z kategorii niszczysz strukturę bazy danych, ponieważ wtedy pojedyńcze ilustracje powiązane są jedynie na poziomie artykułów (a więc plików html), natomiast jakikolwiek związek pomiędzy nimi w bazie jest stracony. Może to ładniej się prezentuje, natomiast w przyszłości, znakomicie utrudni wyszukiwanie poszczególnych ilustracji w bazie. Dlatego jeśli chcesz, to umieszczaj ilustracje w artukułach, ale nie niszcz przy okazji drzewa kategorii (co Ci to przeszkadza ?) Wojsyl 30 June 2005 06:25 (UTC)
Oczywiście nie jestem zwolennikiem wrzucania wszystkiego do "jednego worka", żeby tego uniknąć należy po prostu tworzyć adekwatne podkategorie. Natomiast każdy obrazek powinien być przypisany do w miarę możliwości naniższej (jednej lub wielu) podkategorii w drzewie, żeby informacja o jego dowiązaniu była obecna w bazie danych (a nie tylko w artykule, który jest trudny do automatycznego przetwarzania w przyszłości). Nie stoi to oczywiście w sprzeczności z umieszczeniem tych samych ilustracji w artykule, który z kolei jest łatwiejszy w odbiorze przez człowieka (zresztą za długi artykuł i tak będziesz musiał podzielić na mniejsze, tak samo jak zbyt obszerną kategorie). Chodzi mi tylko o to, żeby nie wylewać dziecka z kąpielą. Wojsyl 30 June 2005 08:34 (UTC)
Rzeczywiście, masz rację: jeśli stworzyć podkategorie do Warszawy, to równie dobrze można grafiki tam umieszczać z poziomu kategorii jak i artykułu. Wojsyl 30 June 2005 09:38 (UTC)

Dzięki za te kategorie, starałem się utrzymywać w tym porządek, ale wszystkiego się nie da ogarnąć :) Tak BTW to trzeba będzie zorganizować jakąś akcję kategoryzacji zdjęć polskich miejscowości, bo jak na razie to tylko województwo świętokrzyskie jest w 100% posprzątane :/ Vindicator 08:27, 3 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • osób już wgrywających mniejsze czy większe ilości zdjęć do Wikimedia

Commons - niezależnie od ich jakości

  • fototoamatorów - nie związanych dotąd z projektami Wikimedia
  • zawodowych fotografów - w charakterze doradców i wykładowców

Nie ma znaczenia jaki typ fotografii preferujesz - w Wikimedia Commons jest miejsce zarówno dla portrecistów, dokumentalistów, jak i fotografów pejzażu miejskiego i przyrody. Permission for photo usage

Dear Thomasz Kuran (meteor 2017),

for our student textbook about Charles Darwin (Die Entstehung der Arten, illustrated and commented by Paul Wrede and Saskia Wrede) we kindly ask you for permission to use the coloured photo of the Flysch ( English: Carpathian flysch near Komańcza, Beskid Niski, Poland. Polski: Flisz karpacki w pobliżu Komańczy, Beskid Niski.).

Our book will be published in German by VCH-Wiley. It is addressed to beginners in biology like students or highly educated laymen. Publication will be December 2012.
