Ford means a lot to me as an autistic person. I've always struggled to perfectly assiminilate into a world designed for the neurotypical. Though probably not the intention of Douglas Adams when he was writing Ford, he wrote a charachter that perfectly encapsulates my experience of being autistic. When I read The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy for the first time, I felt seen by a piece of media for the first time. Ford Prefect is the reason that I continue to depict myself as an alien whenever I'm drawing myself, in case you were wondering.

This is another figure that I have in real life! My favourite guys in the genre of "cute japanese mascot" have always been the Summikogurashi, and of them my favoruite is Tokage, the blue dinosaur. My boyfriend knows this, and has gotten me assorted Tokage/Summikogurashi trinkets over the years. This little guy in particular lives on my desk, next to Otacon.

OFF is one of my favourite games of all time. If you haven't played it yet, I highly recommend checking it out! Zacharie here is my favourite character. In the game, he’s mostly the shopkeeper, but takes on a few other roles. At one point he puts on a new mask and just acts as a stand in for another major character.

MGS is another one of my favourite video games. Having never owned the console to play it on, I've never actually played it, so I can't attest to the gameplay myself, but I know my boyfriend likes it, and his seal of approval is enough for me. Personally, I really like Otacon, because hes a programmer like me! :D
Fun Fact: I own this duck figurine IRL, and my boyfriend owns the matching Solid Snake duck!
