AT COLORADO: This Season (Fr.)
-- Projected as a wide receiver for his true freshman year in college.  He joined the team as a walk-on for preseason practices.

HIGH SCHOOL -- A three-year letterman as a kicker and receiver, he was an 5A all-state wide out (honorable mention), second team all-Greater Houston area honoree and first-team all-district kicker his senior year, when he also played in the Global Junior Championship All-Star game.  His junior season he earned first-team all-district accolades as a kicker.  As a senior, he set school records for most receiving yards (879), touchdowns (10), points (125) and yards per catch (24.4) in a season.  He snagged 36 passes, with his longest touchdown covering 92 yards; he led all receivers in the state of Texas in yards per catch.  On special teams, he connected on 37-of-39 PAT’s, and was 6-of-8 from field goal range (long of 48 yards).  At punter he averaged 38.7 yards per kick and had a long boot of 64 yards.  As a junior, he caught 12 balls for one touchdown, which was an 88-yard bomb.  He was good on 33-of-36 PAT’s, while he also hit 7-of-9 field goals, with his longest being 42 yards; he averaged 35.2 yards per punt.  His sophomore season he made 4-of-5 field goals.  Under coach Marshall Law, Bellaire was 7-4 his senior year, 4-6 his junior season and 3-8 during the sophomore campaign.  His best moment came when Bellaire made the state playoffs in 2003 for only the second time in 33 years.

ACADEMICS -- He is interested in business as a major at Colorado.  He was a consistent honor roll student in high school and was named to the all-academic Houston independent school district first team his senior year.

PERSONAL -- Born July 18, 1986 in Los Angeles, Calif.  An older brother (Aaron) is a sophomore on the soccer team at the University of Virginia.
