Jennifer Duke 850-316-4980 Below are three reasons why the Boomerang Reunion would be a great "Home away from Home" for your family! 1st: LOCATION We are the 5th house on a gated road with private beach access – private is key here because beaches can get sardine packed during the prime summer weeks. You can literally come and go, back and forth as often as you want and not feel like it is a production at all. Just walk out our front door, turn left and walk for just a minute’s walk and you have arrived at the neighborhood private beach access! Also with our state of the art keyless lock system, no worrying about losing keys at the beach and the annoying lost key fee. Aside from the beach, we are a block from Starbuck's and the Silver Sands Premium Outlet Mall (it’s literally just around the corner). The Surf Hut restaurant on the beach is a 10-15 minute stroll on the beach or a short drive. The Winn Dixie is less than a mile away to stock up on groceries when you get here and all the fun things to do at Baytowne Wharf is just over 2 miles away. 2nd: QUALITY We purchased the home in December 2014 and are spent the next 3 months and $300,000+ in renovations. We started with ripping out the " typical " Destin-sized splash pool and are putting in the largest private pool in the area and among the biggest in Destin at 49x20! It offers an 8x10 hot tub that seats 12-14 adults, in-pool table and stools for 4, a large 12" deep tanning shelf with 3 water bubblers and colorful LED lighting. Not impressed yet? How about a game room wing right off the pool with separate pool and ping pong tables, a 12' shuffleboard table, an air hockey table and foosball. A full-sized refrigerator to keep all your drinks for the games or pool. Also another Xbox only dedicated room! We have a large basketball area as well with professional quality backboard. Please remember you came here for the beach however, and don't spend all of your time out back! Plenty of all luxurious and comfortable bedding, wood-look tile floors throughout the entire 1st level and stairs, including all four king bedrooms. A large ice maker for your large groups. Upstairs, we converted two separate bedrooms into 2 sets of built-in Queen over Queen premium bunk rooms to allow up to 8 kids (or with the premium queen mattresses, kids at heart) in each room or 16 total to have their own special secluded hideaway. Granite in the kitchen compliments the stainless steel appliances, and so much more… The upside is everything was freshened or brand spanking new and upgraded for May of 2015. Unlike a lot of the homes you may be looking at with their 5-7 yr. old photos that showed everything before wear and tear, everything you see is completely fresh with ours. You will also enjoy the brand new built-in gas grill for the catch of the day and 2 outdoor showers - one in the front for when coming back from the beach and one out back. 6 high-end chaise loungers and 2 resort quality tables to seat 8 compliment the outdoor oasis. Plenty of space for the whole gang, including parking for 11+ cars. Oh, and we provide just about everything you need, from the luxurious sheeting, to the plush towels, beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrellas, baby bedding, high chair and monitors, 50+ DVD collection, Xbox 360, 11 flat screens, beach toys and games like baggo (like corn–hole), etc... 3rd (and most important consideration that most won’t talk about): FINANCIAL STABILITY Many of the homes for rent in our area are victims of the financial excesses and over leveraging of the recent past and are on the market for sale as short sales (just ask whoever else you are talking to if their listing is on the market). Many of these simply do not have the current ability to keep up with routine maintenance and upkeep (which was the recent case with this home before we bought it). Also, looking out 3 months, you need to concern yourself if the home is on the market and does sell (or is foreclosed upon), the new owner does not have to honor previous reservations, particularly if they are not purchasing to rent or keeping it with the same rental agency. The reason some people discount, is to get as much as possible before losing their homes and are looking to get what they can – if it looks too good to be true, it probably is. You can see in reviews of some homes how they are just not up to par (or worse yet, a home that has been listed for a long time has no reviews – a sign that an owner is filtering negative ones). We try to rent exclusively to families and older adults (that is why we like to talk to all prospective renters, and would want to talk with you before we go ahead and book) and avoid destructive college aged kids just to bump our income in slower periods. We continually turn away college aged spring break groups. We take pride that our home is our personal family vacation home that we use and share with family when we vacation. It is not for sale and won’t be in the foreseeable future. You can be assured that the product that is being advertised is the product you get upon arrival.
