How to take sermon notes

In this weeks blog post I talk all about how to take church notes. Here are a few simple tips to help you take church notes. First, get a notepad and pen ready! Then, write down whoever the pastor is and the date. Next, jot down the main points talked about. Write down the key verses referenced and write out the full verse later if you don’t have time during the service.

I started taking sermon notes after watching my mother do so for several years on the back of bulletins, loose paper, etc. I started this way as well, but being much younger I always loved fancy notebooks.
