While the focus was still on shapes, working with full range Color wheel I got a little overboard with them. Original artwork has that harmony with Color being close together. Will try a limited palette next time. Working with so many shapes I also made the values bit even, like highlights on hair and clothes will get darker in certain regions. Joseph Christian Leyendecker (1874 – 1951) was one of the pre-eminent American illustrators of the early 20th century.
