Round hearth fireplace

The fireplace front is constructed from horizontal one inch finger tiles around an arch formed from several large concave blocks in a beige / brown mottled glaze. Inside this arch are the striking features of green glazed tiles forming another arched recess with stepped opening blocks. Originally from Aveyron, my in-laws left Paris in the 80s and bought the Château de la Treyne with plans to transform it into a high-end hotel.
