Frode Bolhuis on Instagram: "To make a sculpture every day I have to do certain things that are repetitive. Like I have to make an armature, and I have to mix the right color of the polymer clay. Then I start a figure. This you could say is pretty much the same every time. And I like that, I always know how to start. But the exciting thing is that I make sure that the figure is different every time. Something needs to happen that makes it an adventure. I should never know how it’s going to end up. In this case I made a mold of a pattern and pushed the clay into it and placed that on the sculpture. But it could be textiles, beads, bells, all kinds of modeling and backgrounds.
