Jesse Cooper on Instagram: "BAKING SODA DOUGH ORNAMENTS - Here they are! First time with this and I Love it! The dough was inexpensive, and it stays pure white so it looks like porcelain. All it is is baking soda and cornstarch and water. The exact recipe. 2 Cups Baking Soda, 1 Cup Cornstarch, 1 1/4 Cups Water. Mix all ingredients together on medium to medium high heat. Constantly stirring until the entire dough forms. Set it in a covered container with a wet towel for a half an hour and then you’re ready to go. If you have any cracking with the dough a little bit of water pulls it back together. If you have any cracks in your designs, I just used a little bit of water on my finger and was able to fix any blemishes. Then you allow them to dry overnight. Before you do that, just make sure t

Cassandra Evans (Sunny) // Folk Living on Instagram: "Make a dried floral wreath with me 🥰🥀 I made the basic wreath form with some grapevine, but any vines or flexible sticks would do. You can also purchase a basic wreath to use should you desire not to diy that part! I then cut some chicken wire to fit and secured it with a few pieces of thin wire. I then used some previously dried flowers as well as some fresh everlasting blooms from the garden for weaving into the chicken wire. The strawflowers are some of my favorite, and were grown from seeds from @burpeegardening I’ve also dried some dahlias that I grew from Burpee tubers, and dried zinnias I grew from their seeds! Some other botanicals I used are: Gomphrena (from Burpee seeds) Agastache (from Burpee seeds) Goldenrod Celosia

Elaina Zinke on Instagram: "Comment GARLAND to get links to all my supplies sent straight to your inbox! 👻 ✨Ghost Garland✨ -cheesecloth -foam balls (I used 1.6”) -black push pins -white mini brads -twine -scissors Lay out cheesecloth and cut out two 6” squares (cheesecloth is already folded in half so you’ll end up with technically 4 layers). Lay the two pieces across each other (criss-cross, like a star) and lay over the foam ball. Pull the cheesecloth down around the corners to make it look more gauzy. Push in 2 black pins for eyes. Pull apart the two prongs of the white brad and push partway into the top of the ghost. Feed twine through. Once the ghost is in the desired place on the twine, push the brad all the way down to secure. Hang up and enjoy! #ghostgarland #cheeseclothghost
