75K views · 8.3K reactions | ✳️ INTRODUCTION TO CONCEPT OF PLACE VALUE ✳️ ♦️ It is the position of each digit in a number. ♦️For example- number is 639- In place value chart 6 is in hundreds place so it’s 6 times 100 = 600 3 is in tens place so it’s 3 times 10 =30 9 is at ones or unit place so it’s 9 times 1 = 9 So total = 600+30+9 is 639 📌 In the above activity we have made it reusable worksheet by putting into a plastic sheet. 📌 Write number at top and then pull the strip down respectively according to hundreds, tens and ones place respectively. 📌 We have used dot stickers and written 100, 10 and 1 respectively. 📌 In this way we can learn expanded form in tens and in hundreds easily. 🔹🔹 Did u like this easy concept??
