Layers and Colors

Bold, sassy, bright solid colors are popular on the streets, paired with bright patterns, stripes, polka dots, leopard or floral prints, etc. Eye-catching & surprising combinations of pants, purses, shoes make a statement. "Colorblocking" is wearing one or two solid colors in an outfit, usually in bold and bright shades for a simple yet very chic look. Prints & patterns are typically not used in colorblocking, as such designs would take away from the “blocked” visual.
