Getting to know your allies means getting to know how being raised by beasts affects how he is 🙂‍↕️ only issue is that Optimus always questions him about it even though it’s obvious 🙄 I kinda imagine Soundwave still has some damage from when Op blasted him in the face that one time tbh. No hard feelings though, I’m sure Soundwave expected something like that to happen eventually anyways

I thought this was pretty cute so I whipped up a quick human Ravage design just for this 😌 is it canon to the Falconer Soundwave au? Ehhhh, I mean probably not? Idk yet. Or maybe it’s that Soundwave sees Ravage as a person though she’s really a cat, and then other people as animals 🙄 this boy is weird as always… also I wasn’t gonna draw all the spots on panther Ravage ain’t no way. I’d say Soundwave is like the snow leopard to Ravage’s panther leopard 🐆 (or ravage’s jaguar, I haven’t decided between the two yet)

I like to think that Falconer Soundwave sees his coworkers as animals in his head 😌 couldn’t be helped with the fact he’s spent most of his life with animals more than humans. Wouldn’t be surprised if he wasn’t born normally either, instead being delivered stork style to mama Ravage (who is still a cat).. Not sure what other animals the other decepticons would be tho tbh. These are just how I see Starscream and Shockwave… schemey cunning fox and unnerving hare-thing that throws tantrums sometimes…

I always liked to imagine a human Soundwave to have falconry equipment 😌 I couldn’t for the life of me choose any specific raptor bird for Laserbeak and Buzzsaw and his other bird cassettes so I just picked out a golden eagle for Buzzsaw in this case mostly for the yellow commonality 🤔 anyways, if yall got any bird hcs for them I’d like to hear it . Also Falconer Soundwave has heavier clothing cuz he’s inspired by falconry in Asia

Another probably-human-probably-not Soundwave 😌 maybe a holoform? well this might be the same Soundwave as my other design tbh. Just with a different fit cuz he’s fashionista/j; this was mostly cuz of the veil idea for the mask I thought of today 🤔 I thought it went hard so I wanted to get it out there. That waist of hers is insane

@chaetocercus has been enlightened me about marsupials and Soundwave w/ his little family and I can’t help but love it a lot 🦘 it’s very cute but also very cool considering how funky marsupials are! Also consider exhibit A: red kangaroo does (females) are also called blue-flyers because of their coloring! Blue mamas that are very jacked 😌 it’s only the best for them (also, apparently drawing kangaroos is fun, they have a fun shape to them)

Free son for Ravage, just waiting in a package for her!! Sure he needs a little bit of help with that telepathy/sensitive hearing of his but a little bit of fine tuning and love will get him up and around 🐈‍⬛ nothing she can’t do herself, mama Ravage is Very efficient 😌 I also wanted to draw more but my wrist has been hurting lately so I figure I need to lay off for a bit

Sometimes when I look at TFP Soundwave I just see axolotl gills (or just gills in general?) not sure why tho. Anyways this was mostly some practice and testing with another brush 🤔. I like to call Soundwave’s. Things… mandibles, cuz idk what they are but they definitely look like them 😌 the idea of him grabbing stuff with them even tho he’s got two servos and two data cables is comical to me, he just can’t ever be normal istg

The family 🤧 every time I think about all of the collectively they just make me think of matryoshka dolls 🪆! I thought it was very cute, imagining opening a Soundwave to a small Ravage to a smaller Rumble/Frenzy to a smaller Laserbeak/Buzzsaw to a smallest Ratbat… they are very precious to me…

TFO Soundwave face sketches just cuz 🐈‍⬛!! I may or may not have referenced cat pictures for his face . I’ll never tell. I don’t really know how to draw TFO eyes so I just do what I want, I think that’s a logical solution 😌 and no particular face headcanons this time also just cuz 🤔 overall I kinda figured I needed to keep touch with drawing faces anyways for whenever I wanna draw Not Soundwave (impossible to hear, I know)

Liminal spaces honestly always makes me think of Prime Soundwave 😌 but I’m not that good at drawing environments so this is also kind of a study . This is inspired by Ravimnaa’s (on X) pieces of Soundwave! Shadowzone must be so boring 🙄 he should just travel around since he’s got all that free time now. Do you think Soundwave is the Cybertronian equivalent of uncanny considering how unnerved everyone always was about him

It’s been while since I’ve made a transformers oc so I wanted to finally get to making one from a cell/telecommunications tower but also bug! This one I don’t have a name for yet but they’re very inspired by the Skytree tower! I was also inspired by samurai armor because of the several many cultural ties between dragonflies and samurais (and just generally Japanese culture tbh and cuz. The Skytree tower is in Japan) 🪲. There’s too many ties to put them all here unfortunately but I think it’s cool to read about it 😌

on the other hand I like to think there are a few insect transformers that are still huge while most are quite small now, just like how prehistoric bugs were huge 🤔 which is one of the reasons why I chose a dragonfly, considering how successful their big predecessors (?) were . The other reason is that I love dragonflies . Also idk if they’re an autobot or decepticon or neither lol I didn’t think that far

Had a little idea when I was out on a walk but ahh. I can’t really explain what’s going on I just think it’s cool. The High Guard/Command but creatures… Batwave, Bugwave, and uhh. Birdscream? I just liked the idea of how wings could replicate their look 😌 Soundwave was the hardest tbh cuz I had to figure out how bat wings work n all that. But they all turned out great to me! I just need to figure out their clothes tbh . Starscream must have one hell of a time trying to rest at night with how both Soundwave being probably-nocturnal and Shockwave being diurnal or nocturnal depending on the bug he is but also being a bug sleeps but doesn’t really sleep cuz.. Bugs are weird but awesome like that. Long story short it must suck being the only timely average sleeper

Cuz really what’s he smiling about 😒 thinks everything a damn game huh… that silly visor of his making him look so jolly and for what… in reality those two probably got Soundwave stressed so bad always 🙄 yelling at everyone and everything instead of actually doing stuff smh. Someone save him
