A headcanon I have for my oc and Vash in Trigun stamped, is that Lucy would probably geek out over Vash’s arm thanks to her knowledge in engineering. I imagine since Vash gets maintenance by Brad over that hundred and fifty years, the arm would probably be considered more advanced than what Lucy had seen from her time on earth.

Now of course after Lucy would get passed her excitement and curiosity, she would start to feel sad at the thought of Vash losing his arm, knowing he most likely went through something traumatic. But in 98 version, because you can’t tell on a first glance that he has a prosthetic arm, her reaction is a bit different. She suspects he has a prosthetic arm after noticing how solid it is and how it lacks warmth, but she still hopes she’s wrong. So when she finds out, it’s more of a gut punch. But once she processes it, she carefully and gently asks if she could have a closer look at it.

On a lighter note, back to the stampede version, there’s also an irony to how Lucy reacts to ‘lost’ tech. Even though Lucy came from an advanced era, she will sometimes sound or even act like she’s older, often referring to lost tech ‘new’, or making earth references they wouldn’t understand. Vash is the only one who gets everything she talks about, so they often sound like a literal old married couple. Roberto and Nicholas can’t help themselves and tease, sometimes calling her an ‘old lady’ or ‘grandma’.

Fun fact, after Vash reveals his age and everyone does the math, Nicholas teases Vash by saying he has a thing for older women (Vash 150 years old, Lucy roughly 300 years old thanks to cryogenic sleep). It earns Nick a wack to the head by Meryl.

And honestly I’m so proud of it🥰 for a long time I struggled with poses, especially action packed ones and ones that require two characters interacting with each other. But I wanted to challenge myself and see if could do it, and I like to think I made a lot of improvements.

Anyways, for what inspired me. I always imagine when it’s time to run, Vash had at first tried to take Lucy by the hand and have her run alongside him. But unfortunately Lucy isn’t as fast as he is, thanks to him being so tall and her spending years trapped inside a buried ship, she just can’t keep up. So Vash just started getting the habit of picking her up and sprinting. He feels a little bad for man handling her, but it’s made it a lot easier on the both of them. Plus, secretly he does like the chance of getting to hold her in his arms, so sweeping her off her feet becomes pretty common overtime😂❤️

So… I got a new hyper fixation, and it’s Trigun, and so of course I made an oc for it😅 honestly definitely one of the better hyper fixations I’ve had, especially since Trigun is in my top 5 favorite anime and I’ve been meaning to read the manga and rewatch the first anime. But as you can probably tell, I have Trigun Stamped to thank for my new obsession. I finally got around to watching all of season 1 and now not only am I deeply craving for season 2, but I’m fascinated by the world and characters and also very inspired, which led to my oc.

introducing, Lucy Lawrence❤️

I’ve always wanted to make a Trigun oc, but I just could never think of anything, especially since I struggle to understand what was going on in the first anime when I watched it for the first time in my pre teens to early teens. But stamped was a lot easier to wrap my head around it, and suddenly I had a clear vision for a design. Fun fact, you guys have no idea how long it took for me to pick a name. But I eventually took inspiration for the naming style Meryl and Roberto had, you know, Robert/Roberto De Niro and Meryl Stryfe/Streep. So I went with Lucy Lawless, but instead Lucy Lawrence.

So anyway, about Lucy. She is the daughter of some of the most brilliant scientists and plant engineers on earth. Lucy had grown up on earth, but when she turned 18, her and her family left on project seed. But unfortunately, during the tragic and disastrous fall, Lucy’s ship broke in half and the half she was on disappeared without a trace. Everyone assumed it must have burned up in the atmosphere or was left out in space, but it turned out it had actually been buried under the sand in the middle of nowhere. Nearly 150 years later after the fall, Lucy wakes up from cryogenic sleep, and was trapped inside the ship for roughly 3 or 5 years. But one day not only was she discovered by people who were attempting to find and dig up the ship and harvest it for parts, but she was also discovered by Vash and his friends. After managing to rescue her, Vash offers to escort Lucy to a new ‘home’(ship 3) where she could feel like she belonged in. But on the journey to July, Lucy and Vash become much more closer than ether of them expected.

Because Lucy had access to lost tech straight from earth, she has a few gadgets she carries around. For starters, a little drone in the shape of an origami bird that could fit in palm of your hands named Dove. Dove was a fun project Lucy and her father worked on together. Anyway the glasses is a way for Lucy to look through the eyes of Dove. And the brooch attached to her jacket is both and a handheld controller and latch to safely hold Dove when shut down.

Anyway Lucy’s parents, Kathrine and James Lawrence, worked close with plants, especially Kathrine. Because of this, it led to an incident that caused a slight mutation. On paper there is nothing different about Lucy, the only difference is she is impressively healthy. But that changes after the fall, which somehow activates something in her, causing her to develop abilities such as empathic powers and slight telepathy. Mainly she starts off sensing things.

The locket was the last gift she had gotten on earth, a farewell gift by her grandparents since they’d be left behind.

And finally as you already see, Vash is her love interest.

Fanart of the anime Frieren. It’s honestly become a top favorite anime for me, the art style and animation is gorgeous, the story is a good balance of wholesome and exciting, and the characters and world building is so good. Normally it’s difficult for me to get into traditional fantasy animes, but this really took advantage of the ideas of immortality. And I love how they explore humility, like it’s become a joke for me where it feels like a superpower😂 If the character shows any arrogance, I immediately believe they are gonna lose that fight BADLY. But if both characters respect each other’s power and underestimates themselves, then I know it’s gonna be a even fight.

Here’s the next gen girls! Daughters of my oc’s and the turtles. I’m pretty proud of their designs and really grown to love them as characters🥰 anyway they are all the first born children of each other the turtles.

keep in mind, this is their designs in general, so they’d look different in some universes, like rottmnt.

first I’ll introduce in the lineup is 💜Angelica💜 (also known as Angie.)

First I want to say she is kinda inspired from the oc Augustine, by @Star_Sparkler. I absolutely love her oc, please go check out her work, she’s a really good artist. But anyway, I like to think Angie has become her own character enough, so I hope it doesn’t come off as a copy😅

-Anyway, first off is backstory:

Angelica is the oldest daughter of Donatello and Joy, and the oldest cousin of the Hamato’s. But how does an android and a mutant turtle have a child? Well Angie’s backstory is a little dark. You see the government had managed to get Donnie’s DNA and grow a mutant turtle in hopes of making mutant soldiers. Angie was the first successful experiment. But fortunately Joy and the turtles discover this when Angie was a baby, recusing her. Joy quickly got attached and so Donnie and her adopted the child.

So Angie is the only one on the team that’s full mutant, having three fingers while her cousins on the team has four fingers.

Now even though Angie is kinda a clone, she at the same time is not. Her DNA was a bit flawed so wasn’t an exact copy, and in order to finally make it a success, they had to alter it a little, kinda like they do with the dinosaurs in jurassic park. It’s why she’s a girl and looks different and even acts different.

Unfortunately this leads to Angie having some insecurities about her identity. She really doesn’t like thinking herself as a copy and even less about her origins and what she was made for. She tries to focus on what she has now.

-Next her role on her team, she’s surprisingly the leader!

Angelica was kinda chosen by her cousins because she was the oldest, and they were already following her lead. Not only that but much like Leonardo, she was the most mature and responsible of her team. Because of these similarities, Angie really looks up to her uncle Leo.

But even though she is a leader, she still has her father’s tech skills. She doesn’t consider herself as talented as her father thanks to her interests being more towards ninjitsu, but she is still the one considered the brains as well.

-siblings.

Angie has two younger siblings. A android sister, and a human adoptive brother.

-weapon.

a type of spear. Basically taking something similar to the bow staff, but adding a blade.

Next on the lineup, 💕Ren💕

-backstory and Team role, second in command.

Ren is the oldest daughter of Leonardo and Hana, and the second oldest cousin on the team.

So Ren and Angie are honestly best friends and have always had each other’s backs. Ren trusts Angie to lead, but Angie trusts Ren to look after everyone when she isn’t around. They really rely on each other and value each other’s advice. Not only that but Ren is also a great strategist and skilled fighter, probably the fastest out of all of them.

but deep down Ren does feel a little insecure. She feels a little like a disappointment since she didn’t become a great leader like her father. She really looks up to her father and has always wanted to grow to be just like him, but she quickly discovered she wasn’t like him. She was more emotional and impulsive, lacking restraint and was a little too carefree and laidback . Her personality is a little like Rise Leo, but like Rise Leo she has the potential to become a great leader someday.

she both wields a katana like her dad, and a tessen/war fan like her mother.

Next on the lineup, 💚Kimi💚

-Backstory and Team role, the protector.

Kimi is the oldest daughter of Michelangelo and Kit, and third oldest of the team.

Despite being the smallest in her team, Kimi sees herself as a protector. She’s fierce when it comes to the protection of her family. Because of these similarities, she really looks up to her uncle Raph. She is the best at tracking thanks to her heightened senses she inherited from her mother. She is also the best at stealth, having slight shapeshifting abilities she also inherited from her mother. But unfortunately her abilities are weaker compared to her mother.

Kitsune genetics usually should be stronger, allowing the children to have fully inherited from the kitsune parent, despite what species the other parent might be.

But Michelangelo’s genetics also turned out to be strong thanks to his mutation, causing Kimi to come out more half kitsune and half mutant. Which is why she has some green skin.

So while her mother can fully transform herself, being able to fully turn into a fox, Kimi can only hide her ears and change the color of her skin, hair and eyes. It really frustrates Kimi and she keeps trying to improve her abilities in hopes she one day master it, but she secretly has doubts.

Next on the lineup, ❤️Rose❤️

-Backstory.

Rose is the oldest daughter of Raphael and Grace, and the youngest on the team.

Out of everyone, Grace was the one who wanted to have children the most. And when she saw it was very much possible for Raph and herself to have children, she was at first hopeful. That was until she realized her own health was getting in the way. Her body wasn’t as strong as Hana or Kit. It broke her heart to realize she might never be able to do it. But she tried to accept it and looked into adoption at first. But fortunately one day it finally happened, she was pregnant with Rose.

Both Grace and Raph were very nervous, afraid something could happen and this could be the only chance they’d have at having their own child. Fortunately Rose was born safely.

Despite being the youngest amongst her team, she was the tallest and strongest. But despite her size and strength, she was the most gentle and timid. Because of this everyone is the most protective of her.

-Team role, the medic.

Despite being related to the most aggressive one of the turtles, Rose the least violent. She wasn’t the biggest fan of fighting. So instead of worrying about fighting, she worked on healing. She learned everything she could about medicine. But she will sometimes also act as the muscle of the team, lifting, throwing, restraining, she could do it.

-Weapon.

I’ve been thinking two large/Fuma Shuriken. But I’m also considering bow and arrows.

Well that’s it! I’ve been considering a story for these girls and kinda how they truly become a team. Basically the girls get transported to the last ronin universe just as Michelangelo goes on his revenge quest, leading to him and the girls crossing paths. He then becomes kinda their sensei as they help fight against the foot and shredder, but also try to find a way home. Kinda inspired from the episode from the 2003 series, “same as it never was.”.

Ssoooo… this is the first time I’m posting my digital art. And yeah I kinda been having a tmnt hyper fixation/obsession recently. I kinda blame the fact mutant mayhem came out and I finished getting through rottmnt, which btw they are both amazing, I highly recommend them both. Rottmnt is rough at the start, but it gets better as you watch more, please give it a chance.

Anyway, I had recently been in terrible art block, I just couldn’t be motivated to draw for so long that I was actually beginning to forget how to draw. It was honestly depressing. But then one day for fun I decided to challenge myself, I wanted to see if I could make an oc love interest for each turtle. To make unique characters with interesting designs and backstories. Which helped me finally break out of that art block.

And I’m hoping to show more of these oc’s to continue helping with my skills, both in art and writing. Also I will now be starting to take questions for my oc’s. I still won’t take requests because I’m not ready for that kind of pressure, but I will love to hear questions like as simple as “what’s their favorite Disney movie?” to as complex as “what happened to them in Rottmnt bad future?”.

Also quickly wanted to say these designs don’t necessarily belong to a particular universe, this is sorta in general design. Other universe designs will probably look different.

🌸Hana Sakurai.🌸

Species: human.

Color theme: pink.

Weapons: tessen/war fan.

Love interest: Leonardo Hamato.

Backstory: Hana grew up loving ballet and she was very fortunate, in a wealthy and loving family. But unfortunately one day her parents tragically died in a fire, just barely surviving herself and coming out of it scarred. She then moved in with her grandparents in New York, her life changing forever as she’s healing from her trauma.

⚙️Joy.⚙️

Species: android/robot.

color theme: cyan/teal.

Weapons: depends, she can turn her hands into blasters.

Love interest: Donatello Hamato.

Backstory: I’m still figuring out her backstory. But basically she is a robot that had gained sentience. Much like the turtles, she grew up hidden from the world, until one day she was discovered and ended up on the run. Fortunately she stumbles upon the turtles and takes shelter with them.

Species: Kitsune/fox yokai.

Color theme: black.

Weapons: kunai.

Love interest: Michelangelo Hamato.

backstory: Kit has grown up in a very difficult life. She is considered part of an endangered species that is unfortunately still hunted. Most of her life has been about nothing but survival. Until she meets the Hamato family, changing her life for the better.

🌹Grace Reyes.🌹

Species: human.

Color theme: white.

Weapons: typically none, but she eventually learns about handling a bow staff.

Love interest: Raphael Hamato.

Backstory: Grace grew up in a loving family, a brother, a sister, a mom, a dad and a grandmother. She’s the oldest of her siblings and her father works as a cop. But unfortunately her life went a little downhill when she ended up in an accident that took her sight. She learns and adapts to this new life, struggling but managing. But one day when going to therapy, she meets Hana who was also going to therapy and ends up getting into all sorts of adventures together.

Very old drawing. Did this not long after the show first came out. I absolutely love the movie and show, and I'm still kinda bitter about it being cancelled. I still hope it'll get picked up again one day and continue it's epic story and amazing visuals. This show deserves so much more love and I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't watched it.

Been loving “legend of vox machina” and I’ve been so excited that the second campaign “the mighty nein” is going to get a series as well. Honestly I the mighty nein is my favorite party in critical role. But my favorite campaign in critical role is “the calamity”, highly recommend watching it, it made me cry. Anyway I thought as a way to celebrate this, I’d draw my favorite character Jester. The guy behind her is the traveler.

really old drawings I did in my teens. Thought why not show them. Been forever since I’ve watched “inuyasha” and never really got to technically finish it. Kinda lost the motivation to get through “inuyasha final act”, but who knows maybe I’ll get back into it one day so I can watch yashahime.
