Robot-assisted #kneesurgery: Welcome, “Robin”! 🩺🏥🤖    Our partner, the medical technology company Orthokey s.r.l., has developed “Robin” – a robotic system based on the LBR Med from KUKA that provides support in knee surgery. With its high precision and intuitive operation, “Robin” revolutionizes the positioning of implants and the planning of bone resections, opening up new possibilities in patient-centered surgery.    The system uses infrared markers to map the patient's anatomy in real time and enables close collaboration between humans and robots. This leads to precise and reproducible results. Humans and robots: perfect #teamwork at Ford   #Ford relies on human-robot collaboration (HRC) from KUKA to provide an ergonomic workplace for workers assembling headlights.   The HRC solution makes it possible for robots and humans to work on the same vehicle at the same time, without any safety equipment. Two LBR iiwa cobots from KUKA take over the unergonomic adjustment of fog lights.
