Gemäß der Copyright Ordinance von 1924, wo auch das Palestinian Copyright Act of 1911 gilt, der Arab Copyright Treaty von 1981 und das „Grundgesetz“ der Regierung Palästinas, das die alten Gesetze verwendet, gelten in allen besetzten Gebieten Palästinas die israelischen Urheberrechtsgesetze, sodass es ebenfalls enthalten ist. Darin heißt es:
  • Das Urheberrecht an anonymen und pseudonymen Werken bleibt für 70 Jahre nach dem Datum ihrer Veröffentlichung geschützt
  • Es handelt sich um ein Gesetz, eine Verordnung, ein Knesset-Protokoll oder eine Gerichtsentscheidung und ist daher gemäß § 6 des israelischen Urheberrechtsgesetzes von 2007 nicht urheberrechtsfähig. (Übersetzung ins Englische)
