Auto Union Silver Arrows 1934 - 1939 in formation at the legendary racetrack of Reims-Gueux, France, with the famous 1937 type C 16-cylinder Streamliner racing car in front. The 560 hp Type C Streamliner represented the most powerful development of the Auto Union 16-cylinder racing car, and made its debut at the 1937 Avus Race in Berlin, Germany. Bernd Rosemeyer later drove this car to a 400 km/h speed record on the Frankfurt to Darmstadt autobahn.
