Dauphin County Pie Safe With Cupboard
A pie safe with glazed cupboard probably Dauphin County circa 1860. The form consisting of a double door, punched tin, paneled pie safe with an attached nine light glazed door cupboard over top. Varnished surface, possibly original. Measurements: 83 1/2" x 39" x 19". Condition: Wear consistent with age. Lower door knobs & two swing latches appear to be later additions.

John Keyser, Page Co., Shenandoah Valley of Virginia punched tin paneled walnut pie safe, applied dovetailed gallery & rectangular top over two short drawers with figured facings, above two hinged doors, the whole raised on tall turned legs, twelve tins total exhibiting pattern of stylized urn & tulips, bearing initials "J" and "K" in opposing lower corners. Circa 1840. 59 3/8" H, 40 1/8" W, 18 1/4" D.

Circa 1820-1840, original varnish finish, two doors above each with three punched tin panels with pinwheel design, matching sides, stepped crown molding, over three graduated dovetailed drawers with original oval stamped brass pulls with bale handles, quarter round molding above feet with tapered turned feet, pine secondary wood; 50.5" wide x 22" deep x 83" high.

East Tennessee walnut punched tin paneled pie safe, the shaped backsplash over a rectangular top above two hinged doors, each featuring large tin panel (made of four separate crimped tins) displaying a repeated pattern of sun-like device framed by tulips and hearts, concealing split interior with four removable shelves, rounded front corners to top and case, paneled ends, the whole raised on tall ring-turned ball-and-spike feet. Third quarter 19th century. 50 1/4" H, 53" W, 19" D.

Southern, probably Virginia or North Carolina, punched tin paneled pie safe, rectangular top over a single full drawer and two hinged doors, the whole raised on tall, finely turned legs, each door & end set with two tin panels featuring a hand-punched design of central flower flanked by corner fans. Discovered in Piedmont North Carolina. Mid 19th century. 54" H, 18 1/4" x 41 1/2" top.

Probably Augusta Co., VA. Mid 19th century. 61 3/4" H, 50 3/4" W, 24" D.
