Enjoy y'all! | By Marty M | Alright y'all. That is three and a half pounds of our white button mushrooms. We are now going to take a seven 50 milliliter bottle of our Pinot Noir. And we are going to actually pour this entire bottle into our crock pot here. Y'all we are making a holiday classic. And I'm about to show you the easiest way I know how to make this wonderful dish. Alright. Now we're going to take two full sticks of butter. And we're just going to place these in our crock pot here. Just like that. Now we're going to take two tablespoons of our Worcestershire sauce. Alright, I feel like that was, that's about two tablespoons. Now, we're going to take three chicken bouillon cubes. And three of our beef bouillon cubes. We're just going to drop them in. And now I've got five peeled and crushed garlic cloves. And we are going to go ahead and drop these in as well. Now we're going to add a little bit of our dill. We're doing about a teaspoon of dill. That looks fabulous. Then we want to do another teaspoon of our black ground pepper. Alright, that looks good. Last but not least, got a couple bay leaves. We're going to throw those in here and then for our final ingredient, we're just going to add two cups of hot water. Okay. And y'all believe it or not we're done. Let's go ahead and set this on low for 8 hours. Alright y'all. It's been cooking for about 2 hours. Two and a half hours. You can see the mushrooms are shrinking down. They're absorbing all those amazing flavors. We are just going to go ahead and give this a quick stir now that it's a little or a little easier. It would have been tough to stir up there in the beginning. But these already smell amazing. The butter that Pinot Noir that we're using. Uh this is a mushroom burgundy and burgundy wines are made with the Pinot Noir grapes. Uh so if you're making this you know traditionally it's always best to use you know a Pinot Noir just FYI. Okay. Go. We are going to put the lid back on this. Let continue doing its job. Alright y'all. It has been little over 8 hours. And our burgundy mushrooms are looking amazing. Y'all this is such a good side dish. Uh it's great if you know if you're eating a steak prime rib over the holiday. Uh this is such a good accompaniment for that. Uh it's actually a great stand alone appetizer. I'm actually going to be serving it with some crusty bread today. So, we're going to just Take a little scoop. Put it in our bowl to get some of this delicious sauce. I will say this, cooking it on the stovetop, you get a little bit better, a little thicker of a sauce with these but I tell you what, this is just so easy to throw it in the crock pot. Alright, let's let's see how we did. Look at that little guy right there. So much flavor has been absorbed into these mushrooms over the last nine hours. They're so delicious. Cheers y'all. Y'all this is so good. Don't forget to dip your bread. Such a delicious sauce. Enjoy y'all.
