Jani Weizman on Instagram: "Do you ever feel stuck, disconnected, or like there’s too much tension building up in your body? The Breath of Joy combines three short inhales (in one breath), one powerful exhale, and dynamic movement to activate your body and mind. Here’s why it’s powerful: Breath of Joy helps discharge built-up tension and reconnect you with your body, making it a great tool when you’re feeling low on energy or emotionally stuck. But what about anxiety? Anxiety often feels like too much energy in your system, and sometimes that energy needs to be released. Breath of Joy can help, but timing is everything. If you’re mildly anxious but still grounded, it’s a great way to safely channel and release that energy. However, if you’re feeling highly anxious or panicked, calming
Dr. Joe Damiani - TMJ, Head & Neck Specialist on Instagram: "Comment the word ‘Dizzy’ on this video and I’ll tell you more about how I help people. #halloween ⚠️Fake Blood⚠️ Do you experience dizziness, but you already saw your eye doctor ENT in neurologist, and it seems like nothing wrong. Maybe you even tried epleys maneuver, another BPPV treatments, well did you know this could be all be coming from your neck? There are many strategies we can use but the concept I want to drive home this video is that there’s joints and then there’s muscles and we need to treat both of them. In this video, I show a simple way to assess movement, and then treat the joint restriction you might find along with the muscle restriction . Give it a try, progress slowly, and give it a week to see if it mak
Diana May | daily yoga for chronic pain on Instagram: "💫 let’s dive in . 👀 your eyes are responsible for up to 90% of your sensory input. 3 of your cranial nerves that go directly to your brainstem are responsible for moving your eyes. . 💻 we live in a society where we stare at screens all day. This means our eyes are not moving around, taking in our wider environment. . 🧠 your brain feels safer when your eyes can move around better. When your brain senses the eyes moving around, it relaxes a bit. It isn’t as scared because it can literally see more around it. . Eye exercise is actually brain exercise. . ✨ when your nervous system feels safer, your whole body stops bracing as much (better range of motion) and your pain levels drop (because it’s not as activated or concerned a
Diana May | daily yoga for chronic pain on Instagram: "💫want to improve your posture?? This is the missing link. . 👀 your eyes and visual system are at the top of your neural hierarchy. . 🧠 this means it is more important to your brain/nervous system to see clearly, and specifically to see a horizontal line than to stand upright. . 💪🏼 yes it’s important to exercise your feet, legs, hips, spine, and upper back. But if you’re not exercising your eyes, you’re making your life harder. . 👀 we don’t move our eyes enough— especially if you’re on screens a lot. . 🌀 try doing 3-5 eye circles, 3-5x per day for a week and notice how improved your whole posture is!!"
Katey Yurko on Instagram: "EYEBALL exercises / Vision exercises show those eyeballs some love! I get my eyes checked every six months and when I started being consistent with my eyeball exercises my vision improved a tad (it is quite hard to improve vision so I’ll take what I can get.) I wish I had listened to my Mom sooner haha. Even if this doesn’t improve my vision any further I will say this has been excellent for eye strain and probabaly for preventive care as well. #visionexercises #eyeballexercise #eyeballexercises #eyeexercise #eyeexercises"
