Triad chord scales are a great way to learn triads all over the fretboard. Here we have them in the root position using the B♭ major scale, 1st inversion using the G major scale, and 2nd inversion using the D major scale. View the lesson for more!

Presenting the triads in C major on the thinnest three strings (GBE - which I label as String Set 1). - Major triads are green; - Minor triads are orange; and - Diminished triads are red These are the triads in C major/A minor in each of the three different 'inversions' (i.e. arrangement of the three chord tones).
