Clean 1lb of littleneck clams by putting them in a bowl of water with a generous amount of salt. Make sure your clams are covered and let sit for 20 minutes. After, rinse well. 2. Cook 1/2 lb linguine in salted water until al dente. Save a cup of pasta water. 3. Add 3 tbsp of butter and a dash of olive oil to a bread on medium heat. Add 1 minced shallot and 2 cloves of minced garlic. Cook until fragrant then add 1tbsp of chili flakes and a handful of fresh chopped parsley. 4. Mix well then add your clean clams. Top with 3/4 cup dry white wine and a pinch of salt. cover for 5-10 minutes
