This is a budget friendly, tasty and perfect appetiser when hosting for family or friends. Crab and lobster can be expensive and this is normally made with wonton wrappers but I used crab sticks and tortillas for a cheaper alternative. My family loves crab stick salad and I wanted to make them something delicious for the festive season 😊 Makes roughly 24 6 tortilla - cut out 4 circles or squares out of each one making sure it will fit nicely in your muffin tray 250g crab sticks, thinly chopped 300g cream cheese, take out the fridge 30 minutes before so it's soft Lots of grated mature cheddar A generous handful of spring onions, chopped 3-5tbsp of soy sauce 2-4tsp worcestershire sauce 2-4tsp sesame oil Some garlic powder, paprika, dried chives - roughly 1tsp each Salt, sugar and pepper to taste * You can adjust to your preference and you can also add sweetcorn, mayo and chilli etc. Tips: • Brush some oil into the muffin tray and on the tortilla, it will make it nice and crispy. • Place each one nicely to make your cup. • Fill with your crab filling. • There is cheese in the filling but if you want it more cheesy add grated cheese on top. • Cook in the oven at 180-200°C until nice and golden. • Once cooked serve with a dipping sauce of your choice, we love it with sweet chilli sauce!
