How to wear a French Beret

Many of the outfits Emily (Lily Collins) wears in the first season look like they were taken from Blair Waldorf's closet.

So apparently the beret is back in fashion, which is news to me. Was it ever not in fashion??

I find it interesting how often people ask me how they should wear their beret and, searching the internet, it seems to be a major problem for (potential) beret wearers.
