Amanda on Instagram: "This spooky craft is fitting for a fall Friday the 13th 🖤✨ I got the dollhouse, light plug-in and tea lights from dollar tree. For haunted house vibes I spray painted the house flat black. To give it that old, moody feel I brushed on white sidewalk chalk. I cut a whole for the nightlight and used glue and tape to secure it in place. This was so easy and affordable too. I can’t wait to try some more spooky season DIY’s with these houses. It’s currently on offer at £15 - bargain! The spider webs, spiders, paint and brush are also all from Hobbycraft. (not an ad - just one of my fave places!) - All the Halloween miniatures are things I’ve made and sell, or have collected over the years.  - I’ve kept this very simple but you could add turrets or doors and really go for it!  - I used acrylic paint which had to be watered down a little but you could use literally any paint without much prep.  - I didn’t varnish this house but have others I’ve done and iif you think kids will be playing with it I would recommend varnishing for longevity.  - I actually painted one Haunted Barbie, Halloween Doll House, Haunted Dollhouse, Halloween Miniatures, Spider Webs, Halloween Doll, The Spider, Wooden House, Go For It
