Annie Mescall on Instagram: "How we added this beautiful checkered pattern marble flooring to our entryway! By we, I mean the talented contractors. We add all the original wood removed because we wanted the tile to lay evenly with the wood flooring when it met other rooms. It took a day to remove the wood and to sand down the concrete from the wood glue and application. One thing we did ask the contractor to do was to try his best to lay the tile pattern in the same path. The flooring is a matte finished grey and white marble. In total it took 3 days and cost us $1,200 to the labor and $4,600 for the tile. ⭐️ Tile is from @riadtile 12x12!
