I begin mine in Autumn and I'm currently working on a new one. 👩🏼‍🌾 I don't proclaim to be a gardening guru of course, 😊 however I am really pleased with the transformation in different areas of our cottage garden and I started from scratch. I ALWAYS begin all of my borders in this way👇🏻... 🌿 Firstly, get that spade out and decide on the shape of the border you wish to dig. Of course this will be space dependent, but even in very small gardens you can be very creative. We have quite a bit of room to play with here, so I opt for deep, cottage borders. 🌸 Give the soil a g Small Border Garden, Cottage Border Garden, How To Design A Garden Layout, Cottage Garden Edging, Medium Garden Design Ideas, Cottage Garden Border Ideas, New Build Cottage Garden, Mixed Borders Gardens, How To Create A Cottage Garden

Erin Clark ~ Cottage Gardens on Instagram: "Spring gardens are a reminder that we can all start fresh!! No matter where you are in life, it’s not too late! Just as these beautiful Emerald Blue creeping phlox started out as old straggly stems, we too can flourish with some proper self care. We can add our own sunshine, nourishment and water to become better versions of ourselves! As I’m getting older, I’ve been taking some time to really figure out what’s important in life and focusing on the things that matter so I don’t end up old and straggly myself! Lol Gardening fulfills two very important tasks in staying young; stress reduction and physical activity, all rolled into one! If you don’t keep moving, you will stop moving all together😩 @drmarkhyman
