Depending on who you ask Ganjang Gyeranbap recipe can be different but warm rice and fried egg are the main ingredients. On top of warm rice, you can choose your fat elements: Sesame oil, wild sesame oil, butter, or margarine are the most commonly used. Then you choose what kind of soy sauce you will add on top: From regular soy sauce to marinade sauce or any of the leftover sauces from banchan you have in the fridge. My childhood ganjang gyeranbap is made with butter or margarine and soy sauce. But when we have jangjorim(Soy braised meat banchan) in the fridge, that's the sauce I went for cuz it’s the BEST!! So if you make mayak eggs, soy garlic egg (both recipe reels are on my profile and website) or jangjorim and worry about what to do with the leftover sauce, this is what I recommend you to make! 😋 And extra toppings are completely up to you!
