I personally choose to take the plastic off every summer and then re-cover in the fall. I do this because I like to utilize rainfall to water my garden, plus it gets really hot in there with the plastic on by the time June rolls around! I love my greenhouse because it gives me an extra 3-4 weeks on each end of my SHORT Minnesota growing season. Such a blessing!!🤩 This was at our old homestead and I sure do miss it! 😓Looking forward to having a greenhouse again soon, I hope! I recently did a deep dive into researching greenhouse plastic and if I had to cover my greenhouse again, I’d pick something different. You can read about my research here: https://thehomesteadingrd.com/best-plastic-for-greenhouse/ #zone3 #zone4 #greenhouse #mngarden #coldweathergardening | The Homesteading RD
