Bryce Canyon, Utah (USA)
The Bryce Canyon is made up of terraces of rock columns. They comprise a mixture of hardened sand and lime slurry, which settled at the bottom of a lake some 40 million years ago and then solidified. Wind, sun, rain and ice weathered and eroded away the rock for millennia, shaping it into tower formations. Aerial photo by Bernhard Edmaier. #colors #travel
