Save time planning your landforms unit... we have loads of ideas to share! We've been using these books, printables, and science labs for the last few years and the kids love them! If they didn't know anything about landforms before our unit, they certainly did by the time we were done. If you're looking for something new to freshen up your unit, save this blog post to read when you have some extra time. It's full of tested activities to teach second grade children all about a variety of landforms and how they've been changing over time. There are also lessons to challenge their problem solving skills, such as ideas to slow erosion and building windbreaks to protect crops. Before you wrap up your lesson planning for February, come take a look at our book list must-haves. It includes a dozen of our favorite picture books along with printable books the students can read, reread, and take home during Black History Month. Come see...
