Sculpting a Female Figure from a Solid Block Of Clay Part 2
I sculpt the abdominal and back muscles using my ecorche as a reference. I sculpt the general shape of the collar bone and the sternocleidomastoid. I sculpt the pelvis and the hip bones. I am blocking in the general shapes of the pelvis in relationship to the abdomen. By focusing on the bone landmarks of the facial structure of the cheek and jaw bone I am able to more easily map out the facial features, I add tiny bits of clay to the blow ridge, the lips and the eyes. Not focusing to much on details but more about the general shape. #figurativeart #figurativesculpture #sculptureart #claysxulpture #femalefigure #fineart #howitismade
