You can get them out at any time for play! Opening, filling, and closing them is quite a challenge for developing fine motor skills, but who would say no to giving it a go with colourful plastic eggs?! ⭐️Home corner can be kept the same for awhile. I often place the class A2 size learning journal nearby and have them draw their ideas for the next set up (I annotate). Co-designing is awesome for future engagement! ⭐️Think about all the senses in play. ⭐️Fabric off-cuts and scarves from thrift stores are great for small world play. I have this great $1 blue scarf that has been the perfect river/ocean/lake since 2020😉 ⭐️Coloured salt/sand for the win! But use paint brushes or sticks rather than fingers. Comment ‘link’ to get the link to the letter card set I printed & laminated for my classroom (and use just about every week now). ⭐️Note: this is a jumping off point. Activities change with student interaction. For Kindergarten followers, I’ve finished and released the NSW curriculum aligned ‘Area’ printables for instructional and play based lessons. Comment ‘link’ and it can be sent to you. I hope your Wednesday was wonderful 😘 ❤️Jen wherelearningmeetsplay #classroom #prek #Prep #reggioinspired #kidsactivities #playbasedlearning #invitationtoplay #learningthroughplay #reggioemiliaapproach #montessoriinspired #ibpyp #internationalbaccalaureate #earlyyearseducation #prekteacher #earlychildhoodeducation #teachersfollowteachers #earlyyears #teachersofinstagram #earlyyearsideas #finemotor #teachersofig #classroomdecor #finemotorskills | Jen~Where Learning Meets Play | Piano Revival · What A Wonderful World (Piano Version)
