EXCLUSIVE: Count John Wick: Chapter 4 actor Scott Adkins in on Joe Carnahan‘s movie RIP at Netflix.
RIP follows a team of Miami cops whose trust begins to fray when they discover millions in cash in a derelict stash house. As outside forces learn about the size of the seizure, everything for the team is called into question — including who they can rely on. The Artists Equity production cast includes Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Sasha Calle, Teyana Taylor, Catalina Sandino Moreno and Nestor Carbonell.
Adkins, we hear, will be playing the brother of Affleck’s character. Carnahan also wrote the movie.
Actors Equity is the the artist-led studio founded by Affleck and Damon. They’re producing for the studio in addition to Luciana Damon and Dani Bernfeld. Executive producers are Michael Joe and Kevin Halloran for Artists Equity.

Adkins starred recently in Lionsgate’s Dave Bautista action movie Killer’s Game, and can also be seen in the Netflix action-comedy Day Shift opposite Jamie Foxx. He’s also starring in Accident Man: Hitman’s Holiday. Other feature credits include Kathryn Bigelow’s $132 million-grossing Zero Dark Thirty, CBS Films’ American Assassin, Disney/Marvel Studios’ $678M-grossing Doctor Strange, the comedic-spy thriller Grimsby for Paramount, and in Lionsgate’s $315M-grossing The Expendables 2.
In China, Adkins made a big splash opposite Donnie Yen in IP Man 4 which ultimately grossed $165M in the Middle Kingdom, more in the territory than Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker ($20.5M). He also starred alongside Wu Jing in the Chinese action film The Wolf Warrior, which grossed over $90M in China alone.
