BORN FREE

@deepbreathoflife

If you haven’t gotten your kit off at a secluded beach and enjoyed the freedom of swimming, walking and just BEING in your own skin... do it. The first time I went to a nude beach, it was really freaking weird. I was all giggly and pretty awkward as I got undressed and just tried to pretend that getting naked in front of strangers was normal for me so that I didn’t stand out. The first time walking to the water was also a bit intimidating. Suddenly I was overanalysing how I walk 🤦🏼‍♀️. Most of us even find walking toward the waters-edge in our swimwear a little bit like an intimidating catwalk. But I gotta tell you... NO ONE CARES and even if they do - does it matter?! At some point during our childhood/teenage years we start to become self conscious and most of us won’t even be naked in front of our parents anymore 🙋🏼‍♀️. But we are born with these bodies. These incredible bodies that carry us through life. Despite minor and irrelevant differences, they are all the same and yet they end up being the subject of self-judgement and often self-hatred (no matter what we look like). Get your kit off at a nude or secluded beach in broad daylight, SWIM in the ocean and wait... just wait... because eventually it feels more normal and you start to realise that this is the way we are supposed to be. Naked, bare.. just us! #nude#selflove#beach#getnakedaustralia
