Anyone ever heard that thing where men who want submissive women don’t marry submissive women, they marry strong women so they can break them? That’s Jame with Hellyna. He wants Helena to be strong but he broke her. So now he’s moving onto Helly. He’s gonna try to break her next.
Mark Scout feeling guilty about the age gap…Mark Scout realizing Helena would have been in her early twenties when he met Gemma…Is anyone seeing this
friendly reminder that life with a chronic illness is really, really hard and can cause even the most trivial of tasks to become gargantuan. you’re not imagining it. never let anyone tell you otherwise
when you think about it a little, people prioritizing outie mark's savior conquest over the innies' entire lives kind of align with people saying Helly R Was Not There this season. as in, seeing helena and helly as completely different people when the show cannot stop hammering about how they are The Same (to the point of explicitly stating it in the finale), also hinders your enjoyment of their parallel journey this season. like at the very end of s1, when helly looks in the mirror and recited the break room apology, that was her s2 arc being set in motion. and we were given the privilege, through helena pretending to be helly, to understand why helly acts the way she does and helena too. but of course, if you're too stupid to understand what the show is telling you to do then i guess helly r died on s1e4 as well.
i hate it when people are writing a long ass thing and start a parenthetical aside and forget to close parentheses it makes me feel like i cant escape from the sentence
great minds think of dykes
And when Jame tries to kill Helena once and for all by giving her body over to Helly and it’s up to Helly to fight for Helena’s right to live. And when Helena is revived and it’s up to her to fight for Helly’s right to freedom. When they join together to take down the man that caused their separation and shared agony in the first place and they become greater than the sum of their parts. When the prison he built to trap her in becomes the very vehicle for her liberation. What then.
are innies separate people from their outies?
they are two different consciousnesses sharing one body
they are the same person because they share one body
they are different people because they have different personalities/philosophies
they are different people because they have different experiences/memories
they are the same person but manifested differently under different circumstance
they are different people because of varying social/mental conditioning
they are the same person creating two different sets of experiences/memories
they are the same person because innies originate from outies
