The Platform settings allows you to share information about your app that help us verify your app and the platform for which they are available. This information allows us to provide platform specific products such as Single Sign On, automatic app event logging, and more.
The Android platfrom section allows you to share your Google Play package name which is used to let people download your app from the Google Play Store if they don't have it installed. Single Sign On allows app users to launch your app from an Android notification and to allow deep linking to your app from the Facebook Feed. Your unique key and release hashes are used for authentication between your app and Facebook servers. You can also set automatic logging for in-app events and the Google Developer credentials which is used by Facebook for in-app purchase verification.
The iOS platform section allows you to share your Bundle ID, and iPhone and iPad Store IDs. These unique IDs identify your iOS app and are used by Facebook let people download your app from the Apple App Store if they don't have it installed. Single Sign On allows users of your app to launch your app from an iOS notification and to allow deep linking to your app from the Facebook Feed. You can also add automatic logging for in-app events and set the iOS App Shared Secret which is used by Facebook for in-app purchase verification.
The Page Tab platform section allows you to customize your Page tab as well as set administrator control over the App Image and Name.
The PlayStation platform section allows you to share your Title IDs that identify your Playstation app for Facebook Gaming. It is used to allow your app users to access your app's Live content, their user statistics, achievements, and more, and to enable Live multiplayer functionality all on the Facebook platform.
The Website platform section allows you to share the URL of your browser-based web application which we use to send people to your website.
The Windows platform section allows you to share your unique Windows Store SID, Phone Store SID (Beta), and Windows 10 App Store URL to let people download your app from the Windows app store if they don't have it installed.
The XBox platform section allows you to share your XBox Title ID that identifies your Xbox app for Facebook Gaming. It is used to enable your app users to access your app's Live content, their user statistics, achievements, and more, and to enable Live multiplayer functionality all on the Facebook platform.
