So last night I went to the Nerdist Writer’s Panel at Meltdown Comics to listen to JG Quintel and Alex Hirsch talk about writing and story and all that jazz. It was SUPER entertaining, educational, and above all INSPIRING. Gravity Falls and Regular Show are honestly my 2 favorite cartoons on TV right now, and I look up to these guys SO MUCH! They’re both so young, talented and successful, and they get to work on their own passion projects and tell meaningful stories with compelling characters. It makes me BELIEVE, and have hope that if you work hard, your dreams really CAN come true!
Anyway. Yesterday I was able to get Alex to sign my Waddles plushie! :D I was blown away by his reaction to it, and even a full day later I’ve still got warm fuzzies so I just had to post this. SO MANY FEELS! And the drawing he did afterwards was total icing on the cake. It only makes sense to put it on Tumblr because you know… it’s watching O_O
