MR. VALENTINO GARAVANI

Born on May 11 1932. He studied at the Ecole des Beax Arts in Paris. In 1960 he moved to the via Condotti. He began to be called the Golden Boy of italian couture during the Dolce Vita. In 1967 he won the Neiman Marcus award for his collection, and became famous for the "V" logo. 1969 he opened the pret-a-porter in Milan. In 1989 opened the Academie Valentino Cultural Center in Rome. He sold in 1998 his company to a holding industry for $300 million and remain as the designer only.
