25K views · 440 reactions | Fall Candle | 🍂🍁Go! Grab! You some Dollar Tree Candles!!! #autumn #falldecor #candles #dollartreediy #dollartree #crafting #craftinfriends #craftinpaige | By Craftin'Paige | Hey cotton friends. Paige here. Do you guys ever see these candles at Dollar Tree and you're like okay. What can I do with that? Well I'm going to show you a cute quick craft that you can do with it. You guys I'm painting it with my chalk paste and the color bark. I did add a little bit of water to the chalk paste because it is thick. Thicker than than your normal paint. So I'm going to paint it and dry it. And Then you guys I kind of decided that I wanted to paint it again. It just didn't have the coverage I wanted. So I'm going to go back and paint over it right quick and dry that again. But you guys hit that like and follow button for a lot of cute quick crafts like this. Alright so I'm going to dry it. I know I kind of got smart. I just started turning my board instead of picking it up. Kinda learned learn as you go right? Alright so I did let it cool off. So now I'm going to grab my crackle. And I'm going to give it a thin coat on top of that brown and you guys this crackle is on my chalk side if you would like to grab some but also you need to let it dry completely so it takes it maybe two to three hours to dry so I'm going to paint it and then y'all I did let it dry and now I'm going to tape off that little light inside of my candle and I'm going to start painting and y'all this starts crackling pretty much immediately and it is is so cool. So you guys you could do this for Halloween. You could do this for fall. You could do this for Christmas. You could do this for everyday. Uh any color that you wanted to. I just thought it turned out really cute. I hope you guys enjoyed it. I hope you guys go grab you some of these candles and paint them in the colors that you like. The crackle does turn out really cute. And I'm going to use this one in my fall decor. And you'll see here at the end once I get it all dried and done. I do just set it on a candles stand but you guys you could dress this up anyway you wanted to and like I said do any colors you want to I'm going to paint the inside just orange I didn't do the crackle in the inside I just painted it orange and y'all I think it turns out super cute let me know what you think and hit that like and follow button and y'all tell me what color you would do your candles your candle in what colors would you do I used brown and orange just for a fall theme but what color would you do Look how cute it turns out y'all. 5.6K views · 3.4K reactions | DIY VIRAL CHEESECLOTH GHOSTS 👻 if you want the exact materials used for these ghosties, let me know and I’ll send you the 🔗 or you can find it on my LTK in bio! Tips: 1. Not all cheeseclothes are created equal. There are different grades. The white ghosts are 50/60 grade and the light beige ghost is 90 grade (which is why I used 2 layers for the lower grade and only one layer for the higher grade. Lower grade is a tad flimsier. ) 2. I used fabric stiffener, but you can substitute with glue, mod Podge, liquid starch. 1:1 ratio (1 part glue 1 part water and mix) 3. I used different size vases or Starbucks cups for varying size ghosties 🌝 4. To make the ghost arms, I used pipe cleaners ( 4 in total, 2 per arm. twisted them together so they are sturdy). I taped the pipe cleaner to the inside of the Starbucks cup to keep in place. You can also use foil to make the arms. 5. Drying time varies. I always wait 48 hrs before for it to fully dry, esp for the double layered ghosties. 6. Add some string lights (def recommend getting one that comes with remote, esp if you’re making multiple) #momlife #militarywife #momsbelike #spookyseason #falldecor #fallaesthetic #halloweendecor #diycrafts #target #targetstyle | Mads ⋒ | madnatorr · Original audio

527K views · 5.1K reactions | Wood Slab Pumpkin | Wood Slab Pumpkin | By Creating Through Chaos | Hey everybody it's Janice with Creating Through Chaos and I'm going to start this project off with this wood slice that I found out in my mom's yard. They burn wood so I grabbed this slice and I'm going to paint it with some burnt orange. It's been sitting outside for a long time. I brought it inside and I let it sit and then I put it in the oven to bake anything out of it. I just put it at a low temperature for an hour or so just to make sure that there was no buggies in it. And I gave it a good coat of burnt orange. Hi And as you can see I'm not really worried about it covering it completely or being you know double coated or anything. Just making sure that I get a good coat of the paint over it. I kind of want some of that wood to come back through. So once I had it all painted and I had it all dry I'm going to take a small a square of burlap that I cut and a small square of muslin that I cut and I stamped Autumn is in the air on it. You can use whatever stamp you have on hand. I'm going to mod podge that to the bottom right hand corner. Make sure I get a good coat of Mod Podge. And then I'm going to mod podge on the muslin on top of the burlap. So I'm just going to put a good thick coat on there. To make sure that muslin sticks well. And put that right on. And smooth it out. And I already love the way this looks. I love using things like I can find in my yard or I find in my parents house and making something out of it. And look at that's so cute. So next thing I'm going to do is I'm going to stand it up and I am going to add a wood stem to this top and I got these at Dollar Tree a long time ago. I haven't seen them there in a long time. But you can always go out into your yard and grab another stick and just cut it down. Once I have that all glued on I'm going to take some Spanish moss. And I'm going to glue that around the stem at the top. So I'm just going to grab big pile of it. Go right around edge of the stem. And then add my Spanish moss right on. Just kind of wrap it around. Stuff's very wiry so goes all over the place. I'm going to give it a little trim. And trim off all the little wiry pieces. Next, I'm going to take this pick that I got from Dollar General and I'm just going to start adding pieces of that to the top in front of the stem and just kind of hot gluing them into place. And I did that to both sides. And I messed with it until I got it to look the way that I wanted and how super cute is this. I absolutely love it. I'm going to add a little details. Next, I'm going to sand off some of the paint along the edges and a little bit in the middle. I really want that wood color and the the wood grain to come through. And see all the wood how it's coming through. I absolutely love it. Next I'm going to take this small a square of flannel that I cut. And I'm going to hot glue that right above the stamped muslin. It's going to hot glue that into place and I'm going to hot glue this little button that I had right on top of that. Just kind of do a few little embellishments. Kinda take it up a little bit. Once I had that on, I am going to take this bow that I made out of twine and I'm just going to kind of tuck that up underneath these stems at the top and underneath the Spanish moss and then just kind of let that hang down and that is it. I think this project turned out so super cute. It was really easy. It cost me next to nothing and I can always take off everything and use it on something else next year. Thank you guys for watching. I hope you enjoy this project and as always, don't forget to spread the chaos.
