This frame is 11x14 inches about 2\" depth with 1.2\" working depth. It is made from MDF compressed wood with wood-like finishes. Verbiage on glass is premium permanent vinyl. The backing comes off for you to fill and has hanging hardware attached. There are 8 metal tabs on the frame that you open and then close to secure the backing.
